As you fly into Norfolk Island, you can’t miss the sprawling green mass of the National Park which wraps around Mt. Pitt and Mt. Bates and is home to many of the island’s unique endemic
species. It is crisscrossed with walking trails and rangers’ tracks, making it ideal to explore, but unless you know what you are looking at, half the pleasure is lost.
